Geranimo is a beautiful, big, (stocky boy that is everyone's Dream Come True! He has a really smooth gait! A great trail horse!! He is SO VERY BROKE!!!! Unbelievably quiet, calm, w/ still-like movement!
Geranimo is registered with the Spotted Saddle Association. The Sire of Geranimo is Registered Walking. His sire is "Gambler's Painted Prince" Reg. #943111. His Dam is Reg. with the Spotted Saddle Horse Association - "Sweetheart's Bright Spot" - She was never registered with the TWH Assoc.Her pedigree does go down to the old TWH bloodlines with Midnight Sun, Ebony's Masterpiece, Pride of Midnight, and Shades of Carbon.
"GERANIMO"......there are no words to describe this beautiful horse that is SO VERY BROKE!!!! He is unbelievable and has absolutely surprised us all!
From day one, he has acted like he has been here all of his life! Not one thing has caused him to spook. The day some of the videos were taken, the wind was blowing really hard!!! The wind doesn't bother him! He has not shown any signs of negative behavior - "at all"!! AND HE CANTERS!!!
Geranimo is very humble....SO VERY HUMBLE, both in the pasture as well as ----"it is just him"....24 hours a day! Geranimo came from a wonderful family in Nicholasville, Ky., about an hour from us! Joe and his family had him four years.......He was sold to us due to Joe's work schedule changing from working in town, - to traveling the State of Kentucky. Very little time.
Geranimo can be turned out for months!! And when you get him our to ride.....he is the same horse.....as if you had ridden him every day!! So for those of you who can only ride once a week....twice a month....travel with your job....he would be wonderful, because you would not have to worry about his temperament changing from not being rode.
Geranimo is traffic broke including semi-trucks, sirens, fire trucks, log trucks, and heavy traffic, and very loud motorcycles that pass our home constantly on our 4-lane highway! He is a baby doll to catch....He is a true pleasure when clipping, shoeing, loading, and he loves the water when bathing!! He is very playful!!
Geranimo is a big boy.....but he is so very safe! I always use "common sense" when it comes to small children. He is safe for them, but one would want to supervise due to his height! As for grooming him? He stands still in the crossties. He does not move around.....so he is safe for small ones to be around him and groom him.
**For Spooking --We TRAIN WITH the tarps, umbrellas, whistles, and MANY OTHER THINGS with ALL OF OUR HORSES!!
For all of you who keep up with me and my horses, you know I love a horse that sniffs our hair.....he is one of those! He does not ever nip or bite. Just so very sweet and so very loving!!!!
