"JOSIE"......There are no words that can describe this incredible mare! Josie is ten years old, 14.2-1/2, and not only is she marked so beautifully, you will not believe her videos! We have had few horses of this caliber in our entire lives.....both personally and with doing what I do in working with families!

Josie came from the same farm as Latoya and Dakota.....They have been at the same home all of their lives with a wonderful woman owner, Marilyn. They have all been trail rode endlessly......they have been on camping trips......trail ride trips....and have all three seen it all!

I went riding with Jason, on Josie, - and walked her up to the mounting steps ..... put her in place, "SHE DID NOT MOVE!!! THE ENTIRE TIME"!!!! No one had to hold her....... I mounted her - by myself, no help......"she did not move..."... until I clucked to her to walk.....we went riding with Jason...he rode Latoya....and it was wonderful!! When we returned, I walked her beside the mounting steps,....she stopped....."she did not move!!!!!"

It is like she is frozen when doing this....she does not move!!! I dismounted by myself...no one holding her..... and proceeded to undo the girth. She stands while you do that. You do not have to tie her. You do not have to hold her. I took my saddle into the tack room....came back....there she stood!. She had not moved! If you think this mare is not an amazing mare!! I have a lot of years behind me with horses and I have had the joy of few like Josie!!!!

There has to be more words that I can use to describe how quiet, calm, safe, still, she is and yet has a faster gait....comes right back down to a slooow walk....stops and does not move!!! She is THE MOST OBEDIENT HORSE I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! She acts like a big dog that has been through training school!! She is just unbelievable!!!

Josie is a Very Affectionate mare and so easy to be with! She loves her baths, - loads great, comes to the fence when she sees me,.........and she is so fat and pretty! She has beautiful white spots on her belly......and her bald face with her brilliant auburn color ----well, you just couldn't ask for anything more beautiful! Her brilliant color glistens in the sun!

Josie has truly "one of the smoothest rides" we have ever had! One absolutely does not move at all when riding Josie....even in her faster gait! She, of course, stands to mount, and obeys on voice command! She is safe to ride double with your toddlers. Josie is safe to lead the smaller toddlers around! Josie knows when a small child is around....and truly will be a joy for a family of all ages! And I do not put that description on any horses without feeling in my heart that is absolutely the way it is!!!!! If I had ten horses similar to Josie......from one to ten.....Josie -----is-----#1 - the very best!
